Car crashes into downtown Lincoln bank damaging an ATM

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A car crashed into a downtown Lincoln bank Sunday morning, damaging an ATM.

The Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to a call for a sedan crashing into Wells Fargo on 16th and P streets around 10:30 a.m.

Police said the driver mistakenly stepped on the gas and lost control on the car.

There were no injuries, according to LPD.

Crews are on the scene assessing the damage.
