The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the QP Ace Hardware at 945 S. 27th St.
Officials said the driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake pedal.
Initial damage estimates were $1,500.
Store employees told Channel 8 Eyewitness News they were inside and heard a loud crash as the car made impact. They said they were glad nobody was hurt.
