Case numbers are low, positivity rate remains high

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) report two new COVID deaths in the community, with the total now at 148.
The deceased has been identified as a woman in her 90s who was in a long-term care facility and a man in his 50s who was hospitalized.

Additionally, 86 new lab-confirmed cases were reported, bringing the community total to 22,083.
The county is reporting 6,506 people have recovered from COVID-19. While the weekly positivity rate is 25.8%.

As of today, 94 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19 (58 from Lancaster County). A total of six people were on ventilators.
