Casting calls for ABC’s “Shark Tank” coming to Lincoln

Calling all entrepreneurs!
If you have a product prototype or even a full blown business and could use an investment to get it off the ground, you’re in luck!
Casting calls for ABC’s Emmy Award winning show, “Shark Tank”, are coming to the Capital City.
UNL’s Engler Business Program was a driving force in convincing the casting crew to make the trip to Nebraska.
Producers of the show say they’re excited to see what Lincoln and Nebraska have to offer as part of the up and coming “Silicone Prairie”.
Saturday, April 6, entrepreneurs can come to Pinnacle Bank Arena to pitch their ideas to the production team.
The “Sharks” do not attend tryouts, in order to keep the presentation aired on the show completely genuine.
Wristbands will be handed out starting at 9 a.m., and contestants will be given a specific time to return for their audition.
Each pitch should be one to two minutes, and the production team will ask a few follow up questions after.
To audition, you must be at least 18 years old and be an American citizen or resident.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Season 11 of “Shark Tank” will air on Lincoln’s Own ABC, Channel 8 KLKN-TV.
