A celebration of life ceremony is being held for Jeff Dodge.
UPDATE: ‘He treated us all like family’: Lincoln celebrates life of Ramos Pizza owner
The owner of Ramos Pizza died from natural causes on May 6.
Hundreds have responded to the event that was posted online last week, a day after Ramos announced his death on its Facebook page.
The ceremony is happening at Rosie’s Sports Bar & Grill’s Center Park Road location from 5 to 10 p.m.
Ramos Pizza will be closed until 9 p.m., at which time, it will reopen the bar without kitchen service.
Many people have also expressed concern about what will happen to the business now that Dodge is gone.
Its Facebook page addressed that matter as well, saying everything will continue as normal, as Dodge wouldn’t want it any other way.
The post also requested patience as everyone works through this loss, adding that the staff will make sure Dodge is proud of the legacy he leaves behind as he watches over them.
