Center For People In Need sending supplies to flooded communities

Fremont will be getting a big donation from the Center For People In Need in Lincoln.

“I just I feel so bad for these families and I hope what little we’re doing can you know, make an impact,” Steve Sheridan, the Deputy Director for the Center, said.

Several trucks loaded up food and personal care items Tuesday morning and headed out.

Everything donated was extra supplies already on hand at the Center For People In Need.

The supplies will be taken to the Millard Airport, then flown in to Fremont and North Bend.

“This is amazing. I mean, this is what we do. This is why we are the Center for People in Need. I mean, we help people. It’s either our local clients or it’s people in the community that need help.”

The Center made sure to send baby formula and diapers which are a big need in some of the flooded communities.
