GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) — There appears to be an uptick in counterfeit currency making its way through Grand Island over the last week.
Since May 30, police have gotten at least four reports about fake money.
They say the bogus bucks were used at Island Oasis two different times during this stretch.
A Walgreens and a Pump & Pantry were the other locations where counterfeits were found.
Two of the bills were a fake $10, while the others were a phony $50 and a sham $100.
If you discover any doctored dollars in your possession, make sure to contact authorities.
