“I came home after 9 o’clock at night and found out that my house was broken into,” said Timothy Wrigley.
On Monday night, Timothy was spending time with some of his family doing Halloween festivities.
When he returned home near 5th and E around 9 p.m., he found that someone had entered his house through a window.
Police say they found blood drops throughout the house.
“This guy must have punched with his bare hands or something and was cut, I can’t get the blood stain off my front porch right there but I was able to clean the kitchen floor,” said Wrigley.
Police said it appeared the suspect had cut their hand while trying to break in through a locked door before discovering the unlocked window.
Timothy said his laptop and cellphone were missing from the home but those are not as valuable as his 8-year-old Teacup Chihuahua, Lolita.
“It makes me wonder about the person, they have no feelings, you know a lot of people get attached to dogs,” said Wrigley.
Lolita is very small and only weighs about 3 pounds. She is a Teacup which is the smallest Chihuahua breeds.
Investigators will process blood left behind by the suspect.
