Chilly Monday Before Snow Chances
A partly sunny & chilly Monday afternoon across Nebraska. Highs ranging from the 40s to 60s. A chance for some light rain Monday morning.
Tonight, light rain/snow will begin near & north of Lincoln. Snow showers will pick up early Tuesday morning north of I-80. The morning commute Tuesday will be slick towards Omaha & along I-80. Stay tuned for updates.
High temperatures this afternoon reaching the 40s, 50s & 60s! The warm spot will be in SW Nebraska. The cold spot will be in northeast Nebraska.
A narrow rain/snow line will form north of Lincoln Monday night.
Tuesday morning will bring a slick morning commute across the Omaha metro. The narrow snow band could drop farther south towards Lincoln with new updates. The best chance for 1-2″+ of snow will be from Norfolk to Omaha.
The narrow band of snow looks to setup right over Omaha Tuesday morning. Lincoln will likely see a tenth to near half an inch through Tuesday morning.
A rollarcoaster of a week is in store! Tuesday brings chilly air with snow showers in the morning hours. Wednesday, temperatures warm up into the 60s & 70s with showers and T-storms possible by the evening hours. Thursday looks to be the wet day. Showers and T-storms likely across the state. The weekend is shaping up to be cloudy and stormy. Next week, the weather looks to settle down for a few days.
