Chopsticks raises $5,500 for fallen Nebraska trooper’s family

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Chopsticks Chinese Cuisine has raised $5,500 for a fallen trooper.
The restaurant at 70th and A streets held a fundraiser Thursday, with 30% of all proceeds going to the family of Kyle McAcy.
McAcy died Monday while responding to a crash on Interstate 80.

The restaurant partnered with Computer Hardware, which contributed 30% for every screen protector it sold.
“The NSP family is hurting, but we have lots of shoulders to lean on,” Trooper Trysten Whitted said. “And the support we are getting from everyone in the great state of Nebraska means a lot.”
