City of Lincoln declares snow emergency

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The City of Lincoln is declaring a snow emergency on Wednesday as crews start plowing roads across the city.
Starting at 8 a.m., parking will be banned on both sides of emergency snow routes, arterial streets, school and bus routes.
You can find maps of those routes on the city’s website under the “Parking Bans & Ordinances” tab.
City crews are currently plowing arterial routes, and contractors have been activated and will begin joint operations at 7:30 a.m.
