Clear outstanding warrants without jail time

The Lancaster County Attorney and City Attorney are holding a warrant day on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
It’s a chance for anyone with outstanding misdemeanor warrants to clear them without going to jail.
County Attorney Pat Condon said anyone with a warrant needs to go to the courthouse at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. or from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. and request their case go before a judge.
The judge will set a new court date, clearing the warrant. Condon said offenders will be released on their promise to appear and will not have to pay bond.
Condon said they’re doing it after a successful warrant week that helped clear more than 100 warrants earlier this year, as well as to reduce the strain on the jails over Thanksgiving weekend.
