Clothing, paperwork stolen from vehicles at Wilderness Park, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating after three vehicles were burglarized Friday at Wilderness Park.

Police said the vehicles were broken into at the Jamaica North Trail parking lot near Eighth Street and Pioneers Boulevard.

All of the vehicles had their windows shattered, totaling $1,600 in damage, according to police.

Around $300 in items — including clothing, insurance paperwork and a vehicle’s owner manual — were stolen.
