Clouds increase, showers and storms possible on Mother’s Day
Warm temperatures and mild conditions expected overnight.
Late afternoon on Mother’s Day will be our best chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Another warm day expected for Sunday with highs mainly in the upper 70’s.
Cooler temperatures arrive for Monday but warming up after that.
As low pressure moves into western Kansas and an upper level trough enters the region we’ll see clouds and rain chances increase by Sunday afternoon with the chance of isolated thunderstorms through early afternoon on Monday. Highs mainly in the 70’s through next Thursday followed by some 80’s. Another chance to see the Northern Lights tonight begins around 10 PM with the best viewing away from city lights after 1 AM.
