Coaches vs. Cancer game at Pinnacle Bank Arena

The Coaches vs. Cancer game happened today at the Huskers basketball game.

“We are kind of raising awareness for different charities here,” Sophomore, Max Wellheng said.

Coaches from both Ohio state and Nebraska dressed up with suits and sneakers in an effort to raise cancer awareness.

Some of the students in the Huskers student section joined in on the fun.

Despite the heartbreaking loss against Ohio state, Tim Miles recognized the bigger picture that comes from a day like Saturday.

“This stinks, this is awful, we hate losing basketball games, but the cause is great and something we should rally around,” Miles said.
