Cold & Breezy Monday- Warmer Tuesday

This afternoon, temperatures stay on the cold side, ranging from the 20s, 30s and a few 40s. North winds remain breezy, but sunshine will be with us all day!

Wind chills will stay in the upper teens to lower 20s across eastern Nebraska.

Friday, a surge of VERY cold arctic air moves into the central Plains! High temperatures will struggle to reach the single digits and teens. Wind chill values between -10 to -25 degrees Friday morning. Light snow chances return, with potential for snow and an icy mix farther south. Stay tuned to the forecasts this week.

The 6-10 day temperature outlook shows WELL BELOW NORMAL temperatures across much of the northeast and south starting this weekend.

Monday brings sunshine and slightly warmer air. Another clipper system could bring light snow into NE Nebraska Tuesday night. Warmer air settles in Wednesday before Arctic cold Thursday night through Saturday. Next week brings “warmer” air back into the 30s.
