Cold Thursday, freezing rain mix possible Friday

By tomorrow morning, the feel like temperatures will be in the single digits for most of us. Make sure to bundle up as you head out the door.
With the winds out of the east 5-15 mph, temperatures will feel like single digits Thursday morning.

Thursday, temperatures in the upper 20s and some lower 30s in southeast Nebraska.
The first precipitation type by later Friday afternoon may start out as freezing rain. The evening commute may easily become hazardous if that is the case. More warm air will cut in from the south later that night, meaning more of a chance to see a transition to rain as the primary precipitation type across southeast Nebraska overnight into early Saturday.
Up to a few hundredths in ice accumulation will be possible by late Friday night. Extra caution and time will be needed for errands and outings if traveling the second half of Friday around I-80.
