The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
The Overland comes with a 5.7-liter Hemi, and adds a wood-and-leather steering wheel, real wood accents on the doors and console, two-tone leather and ultra-suede seats embroidered with the Overland logo, leather-covered console and armrest, side airbags, DVD-based navigation, Sirius Satellite Radio, ParkSense rear park assist with ParkView reversing camera, a trailer-tow group, and chromed aluminum wheels. Platinum accents highlight the exterior, and the front sill guards are now brushed stainless. Overland 4WD adds Quadra-Drive II.
The History of Russwood
Gotfredson Motor Company was founded in 1916 by Eli Gotfredson. The store originally started as a gasoline, tire, and battery service station. In 1920, they expanded to be a Buick dealership, selling new and used automobiles. In 1928, Chrysler was sub-franchised through White Motor Company. In the early 30's the DeSoto and Plymouth lines were added. As a family owned and operated business, Eli retired in 1951 turning the business over to his son, Howard. The Chrysler franchise was officially purchased in 1961.
In 1975 the dealership moved from its original location in College View to the sparsely populated 84th and “O” location. The coming years would prove this to be an excellent decision. In 1989, Howard Gotfredson sold the business to the Brehm Group and the name was changed in 1991 to Russwood Chrysler Plymouth. Under either name, our dealership has supported the community and grown to have a strong reputation for integrity and excellence in customer service. We expanded our service to Crete, Nebraska in March of 2005.
