Cool ending to the week 11/20/2020
Temperatures are on the cooler side this morning thanks to the cold front that moved through yesterday. Most of southeast Nebraska is starting off in the 30s and 40s this morning with clear skies and calm winds out of the north. As we progress further into the afternoon, clouds will start to increase and our high temperatures will suffer as a result. Overall highs by the late afternoon will only top out in the upper 50s with light northeast winds. Overnight the mid-30s return to start off the weekend with a scattered showers expected throughout your Saturday and highs in the upper 40s. Most of the showers are expected to stay south of I-80 by the Kansas border, but a few might make it close to the Lincoln area.
- TODAY: Northerly winds and cloudy skies will cool us down today. Clouds will increase throughout the day and highs will only warm to the upper 50s. HIGH: 57
- SATURDAY: Overcast skies and a few isolated showers are possible throughout the day. Highs will warm to the upper 40s. HIGH: 48
- SUNDAY: Widespread sunshine returns and highs warm to the low 50s. HIGH: 50
- MONDAY: Wind speeds pick up and clouds increase across southeast Nebraska. Highs warm back above average to the low 50s. HIGH: 52
- TUESDAY: Scattered showers are possible throughout the day with mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. HIGH: 54
