Cooler for a few days; Easter will feel like June
Northwesterly winds are keeping southeast Nebraska cool for a few days. It started Tuesday as high temperatures were 25° to 30° cooler than Monday. We’ll remain 5° to 8° below the normal high temperature Wednesday. Don’t fret, another nice warm-up is just around the corner.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies. Temperatures drop to the middle 20°s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, cool, and breezy. High temperatures will be in the upper 40°s to lower 50°s. Winds will gust to 40 mph at times on northwesterly winds.
THURSDAY: Sunny skies and warmer. High temperatures near normal, in the upper 50°s to near 60°.
The warm-up will continue in to the end of the work week. Winds will turn southerly and skies will clear. Highs Friday should reach the middle and upper 70°s. Temperatures should reach the upper 70°s to near 80° Saturday. Easter Sunday is going to feel more like the second week of June. High temperatures will be in the lower 80°s.
