Cooler temperatures to end Meteorological Spring
We close out the month of May with a day with temperatures slightly below normal and cooler than what southeast Nebraska experienced over the holiday weekend.
Morning clouds should give way to mainly sunny skies Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the middle 70°s to around 80°. Humidity will also be pleasant with dew point temperatures in the 40°s.
A weather system will move in Wednesday morning bringing with it scattered showers. At this time scattered showers will be possible from along and south of I-80 through the morning hours. The rain should move out of the area for the afternoon.
