Couple offers ride to strangers who take off in their car

Lincoln Police are looking for a maroon Nissan with Arizona license plates. 

It was stolen from an elderly couple after they gave two strangers a ride in the area of 70th and A streets. 

Police said a male and female asked for a ride, and gave the victims directions to a home they said was their mothers. The owners of the car got out of the vehicle at the home. 

That’s when the couple drove off, leaving the victims behind. 

They’re described as a 5’3 skinny black male wearing red and a 5’9 heavyset black woman wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. 

The car is worth $10,000. The License plates number is  CGC-3543.
