LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at an apartment in Lincoln.

In an arrest affidavit filed Thursday, Officer Tyler Nitz said a 20-year-old woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Evan Mielak, 21.

On Monday, the woman called Mielak to “discuss the incident,” according to the affidavit.  The call was recorded by Lincoln Police.

Two days later, he was taken into custody and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail.
