COVID cases continue on a downward trend

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reports 24 new cases of COVID-19. This brings the community total to 28,853.
The death toll remains at 224.

More than 15,300 people have recovered from the virus, with more than 119,400 vaccines administered.
This week’s positivity rate is 21.3%.
Twenty-four COVID patients are currently hospitalized (16 from Lancaster County). One patient is on a ventilator.
