Crash closes part of O Street as the holiday weekend comes to an end in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Fourth of July ended with a crash between two vehicles in Lincoln.

It appears that a pickup truck and a Jeep slammed into each other at O Street and Cherrywood Drive.

This was reported just after midnight Wednesday, and at least four units were brought in.

Heavy debris littered the road, and a sign was also taken out.

Police blocked that part of O Street as the crash was cleaned up.

So far, there’s no word on any injuries in this collision or what led up to it.
