Crash involving semi, tractor shut down rural Nebraska highway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pair of drivers were hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash on a rural Nebraska highway on Tuesday.

The St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department said Wednesday that the crash involving a semi and a tractor happened north of the city on Highway 281.

Two people were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

It is not yet known what caused the crash.

Officials said the road was closed for about six hours as crews cleaned up the wreckage.
