Jack-knifed semi on I-80 caused traffic delays west of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A semitrailer crash on Interstate 80 caused traffic delays Tuesday during the morning commute.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on I-80 at mile marker 392, just west of Emerald.
Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said a semi driver tried avoiding a vehicle and went off the road.
The driver then veered back onto the road, hit a guardrail and jack-knifed, according to Houchin.
The crash caused the left lane of westbound I-80 to close. It has since been reopened.
No one was injured.
