Rosa Parks Way reopens after fatal motorcycle crash, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) -Rosa Parks Way has reopened after a fatality crash shut the road down Wednesday afternoon, Lincoln Police say.
Shortly after 1 p.m. a 53-year-old driver lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the wall of the bridge.
The driver fell over the side of the bridge onto K Street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Captain Todd Kocian says the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
Rosa Parks Way was closed for over two hours.
Channel 8 has a reporter on the scene and says an area under the bridge near K and 7th Streets will also remain closed off, police have not yet said if this area has reopened.
