Crete Mayor Roger Foster dies of lung cancer

The Mayor of Crete, Roger Foster, has died after a battle with lung cancer, he was 50 years-old.

Foster passed away Wednesday, July 31st.

Foster had been mayor of the town since 2010.

Before that, he spent three years on the Crete City Council.

Foster is survived by his wife, Julie and daughters Jasmine and Brooke.
