Crews battle two grass fires in northern Lancaster County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews are responding to at least two grass fire in northern Lancaster County on Tuesday.
The fire was reported about 2:30 p.m. at North 14th Street and Agnew Road, about halfway between Davey and Ceresco.
A Channel 8 reporter at the scene saw smoke rising from a charred field.

At 3:15 p.m., at least two departments — Valparaiso and Ceresco — were at the fire and at least six firetrucks were on scene.
North 14th was closed from Agnew to Little Salt roads.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said there was also a grass fire near Northwest 40th Street and West Agnew Road.
Both fires have been put out, and all roads are back open, the sheriff’s office said.
