Crews fight house fire in central Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire Thursday in central Lincoln.
The fire was reported about 2 p.m. near 32nd and C streets.
A Channel 8 employee at the scene saw smoke rising from the house. There was also a hole in the roof and in the wall.
No one was injured, and LFR said firefighters rescued two cats from the home.
Investigators think the blaze was caused by an air conditioning unit.
The amount of damage is not yet known.
