Crews investigating early morning fence fire in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue is investigating a fire Monday morning in east Lincoln.

Crews responded to the area of 56th and A streets around 6:30 a.m.

LFR said a fence caught fire, but was able to burn itself out.

Police blocked off the area while crews battled the blaze, but roads have since been reopened.

There’s been no word on any injuries or the extent of the damage.
