Crews respond to kitchen fire at Misty’s in Havelock

Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at Misty’s Steakhouse in Havelock Wednesday morning. 

Crews got a call about flames in the restaurant’s kitchen shortly before 11:00 a.m. 

The building was evacuated, and it’s unclear how many people were inside the building at the time. 

Officials tell Channel 8 Eyewitness News nobody was seriously injured. 

Crews extinguished the fire quickly after arriving. 

LFR officials say the fire started in the hood of a grill.
