Crews respond to two-vehicle crash in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue and the Lincoln Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in south Lincoln.

Crews were sent to the intersection of 27th Street and Old Cheney Road just before 4 p.m. on a rescue alarm.

A video sent to our NOW Local News App shows crews working on a red SUV and the damage to both cars.

Channel 8 called LPD, but they couldn’t give any information about injuries or the cause of the crash at this time.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene said eastbound Old Cheney is closed, but the vehicle is being towed away.

This is a developing story. Check back with Channel 8 for updates.
