LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities are searching for the criminal who couldn’t break into a Nebraska ATM, but still managed to cause $20,000 in damage.

Grand Island Police say this happened near South Locust and Holcomb Streets on Wednesday, just before 3 a.m.

We’re told the crook used a pickup truck to try busting it open, but Pinnacle Bank’s cash boxes foiled every attempt.

There’s no word on what kind of pickup police are looking for, and they don’t have a description of the would-be thief either.
