Dakota County reports an additional 136 new COVID-19 cases

This is the second day Dakota County has seen a substantial spike in cases.

As of 1 pm Monday, April 27th, 2020, we have a total of 608 COVID-19 cases, with 136 additional new cases today.

The numbers are continuing to increase and we understand there may be questions. As the testing in Dakota County increases more confirmed cases are identified, in which our Health Department will continue to contact those positive cases. By contacting these individuals we are able to move forward with more targeted community testing. This will likely continue as we anticipate seeing more confirmed case with more area testing.
