LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A David City man was arrested Thursday after a child sexual assault investigation, the Nebraska State Patrol says.

In late January, law enforcement in South Dakota provided information that led to an investigation of 77-year-old Marvin Hilger.

Investigators served a search warrant at Marvin’s David City home on Thursday.

He was then arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault of a child and lodged in the Butler County Jail.

The patrol said additional charges are pending.

The victim was a minor under the age of 12, according to the patrol.

Anyone with information is asked to call the patrol at 402-471-0112.
