LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Monday after deputies found drugs at a property in rural Gage County, the sheriff’s office says.

Around 5:30 a.m., deputies served a search warrant at a “rural, wooded property” near Wymore as part of an ongoing burglary investigation, a press release said.

Inside a camper, they found 44-year-old Paul Pond and 39-year-old Amber Pond, both of Blue Springs, and took them into custody.

During a search, deputies discovered 4 grams of suspected meth, 6 ounces of marijuana, digital scales and “a large amount” of pipes and bongs, the sheriff’s office said.

They also found items reported stolen in two recent burglaries in Blue Springs and Wymore.

The Ponds were arrested on suspicion of several charges, including possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
