Deputies find meth, cocaine and guns in northwest Lincoln traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An early Saturday morning traffic stop in northwest Lincoln led to the seizure of several drugs, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says.
Around 4 a.m., deputies spotted a Chevy Cruze that was engaged in a “road rage incident” near Northwest 31st Street and Highway 34, Capt. John Vik said.
Deputies pulled the vehicle over and spoke with the driver, 37-year-old Michael Paris, and passenger, 27-year-old Kelcee Albin.
When the two got out of the vehicle, deputies spotted two firearms inside, according to Vik. Paris and Albin didn’t disclose that there were guns in the vehicle.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found 2.5 pounds of meth, 3 grams of cocaine, suspected LSD tablets and over 900 pills, some of which are suspected of containing fentanyl.
Hundreds of rounds of ammo were also seized from the vehicle, Vik said.
Paris and Albin were arrested on suspicion of several felony drug charges.
