Deputies hailed as heroes after saving goats near busy interstate

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Troopers from Prairie Township, Ohio are being hailed as heroes after stepping in to save the lives of two goats.

On Monday, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office received an unusual call.

A group of goats were running near Interstate 270.

When deputies arrived, they discovered two goats wandering around lost and confused.

They bravely swooped in and rescued them from the extremely dangerous traffic.

The goats are now safe at a local farm.
