Deputies seize AK-47, pound of marijuana at northwest Douglas County home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Cash, an AK-47 and a pound of marijuana were seized by deputies at a northwest Douglas County home Monday morning.
In a post to Facebook, the sheriff’s office says deputies were sent to the home on a report of a disturbance.
One person, who was not named, was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats, use of a weapon, an unrelated assault and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
“This is homicide prevention at its finest and further evidence that drug dealing is rarely a ‘Non-Violent’ crime,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
