Deputy lifts vehicle off of trapped man’s hand

A Seward County Sheriff’s Deputy helped save a man whose hand was stuck under a vehicle, the department said on Facebook.
The post said a deputy stopped Thursday to help the driver, who was changing a tire when the jack fell and pinned his hand.
“Thanks to some quick thinking and incredible strength, the deputy was able to lift the vehicle high enough to allow the driver to get his hand out,” the post read. “The vehicle was a Ford Excursion!”
The man’s family stopped by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office Friday to drop off some apple pie and muscle relief.
“It’s moments like these that make being in law enforcement so easy,” the post read.
