Derrick Walker Jr. returning to Nebraska men’s basketball
Walker will be using his fifth season of eligibility to return next season.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Derrick Walker Jr. announced Tuesday that he will be returning to the Nebraska men’s basketball team for the 2022-23 season.
Walker will be using his fifth season of eligibility to return next season.
Since becoming eligible in January 2021 after transferring from Tennessee, Walker has started all 48 games at Nebraska.
Walker averaged 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game last season. He also shot 68.3 percent from the field, breaking the university’s single-season mark for field goal percentage.
