Derrick Walker Ready For Season Debut, Now On Sunday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Following a reduced 11 game suspension, Tennessee transfer Derrick Walker will make his long-awaited debut as a Husker on Sunday against Indiana.

The 6’8″ forward was scheduled to play his first game on Tuesday against Purdue, but that game was postponed. This will be Walker’s first game in almost two years.

“He gives us another weapon out there,” said head coach Fred Hoiberg. “But he has a lot of work to do before he gets in to true game shape.”

The Huskers tip-off at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Sunday at 5 p.m.
