Ditch the jackets on Monday and Tuesday afternoon

The second half of the weekend fared off on a much drier note. Although most of Sunday featured cloudy skies, we were able to see some clearing in the morning. The morning sunshine was enough to allow high temperatures on Sunday to rise to the low to mid-50s.

While clouds should reign over the skies on Sunday evening, we’ll begin to see some clearing overnight and into Monday morning. We should wake up to mostly clear skies on Monday with low temperatures dropping to the upper-30s for many.

Sunday Night Forecast

Winds will have a southerly component on Monday. That, coupled with mostly clear skies will allow for temperatures to climb into the low-70s on Monday afternoon.

Monday Forecast

70°+ temperatures will persist into Tuesday where we will likely be a tad warmer than Monday. In addition, clouds begin to increase along with wind speeds on Tuesday. This is in response to disturbance in the form of a cold front which is set to arrive Tuesday night.

Stormcast Tuesday Night

This front doesn’t appear to have a lot of moisture to work with. As a result, Tuesday night’s frontal passage appears to be dry. However, the front will have the effect of cooling us off by mid-week where highs remain in the upper-40s on Wednesday and mid-40s on Thursday.
