Douglas County Corrections officer accused of stealing thousands

A Douglas County Corrections officer has been accused of embezzling at least $173,000 from the Fraternal Order of Police, according to Sarpy County Attorney’s Office.

Daniel Glazebrook was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office.

He was the treasurer of F.O.P. Lodge 8.

The Lodge 8 Executive Board recently discovered unusually transactions and missing funds from the F.O.P. bank account.

A review of documents indicated that Glazebrook had been embezzling funds for the past three years.

Glazebrook has been charged with three counts related to the case and a bond has been set at $100,000.
