Douglas County deputy arrested for making nude AI images of children, coworkers
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) has announced the arrest of former Deputy Nolan Dudik.
On May 14, DCSO released a statement regarding the investigation done by the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP). DCSO said Sheriff Aaron Hanson authorized an internal investigation after learning of NSP’s investigation, prompting the termination of Dudik on May 5.
Dudik began his DCSO career in June 2023, and was assigned as a School Resource Officer at Westview High School in July 2025.
On Oct. 29, Dudik was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol.
Hanson said Dudik allegedly used artificial intelligence to generate nude pictures of juveniles and coworkers.
The investigation is ongoing.
“Dudik let us all down,” Hanson said. “He let down the county that entrusted him to serve and protect. He disgraced our profession. He disrespected this agency. And his actions were an embarrassment to every member of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.”
Hanson said DCSO is filled with amazing workers and people, and Dudik put their work at risk.
“I, for one, am glad that the State Patrol arrested Dudik this morning,” Hanson said. “I look forward to being at the courthouse to look that piece of crap in the eye one last time as everyone from this agency comes together to move forward with your safety as our singular focus.”
