Downtown Lincoln building partially evacuated due to Freon leak, LFR says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A downtown Lincoln building was partially evacuated Thursday morning due to a Freon leak.
The leak was reported on the fourth floor of the Sharp Building near 13th and N streets, LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said.
The fourth and fifth floors were evacuated as crews were investigating the leak.
Freon, a refrigerant, can cause nausea and headaches if inhaled.
Lierman said there is no danger to the public.
