Car Ends Up On Its Top Following Single Vehicle Crash In Southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A car ended up on its top Saturday night after it crashed in southeast Lincoln.

Just before 11 p.m., several first responders were sent to the intersection of 48th Street and Old Cheney Road.

In a video sent to our NOW Local News App, you can see heavy damage to the car as it rests on its top.

According to the Lincoln Police Department, the driver was cited for reckless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

LPD said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
