LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman who was contacted by Lincoln police in connection to a hit-and-run caught on camera has been arrested.

The driver, identified by LPD as 22-year-old Isabel Knapp-Cuevas, was lodged Friday for leaving the scene of a serious injury accident – a felony.

Knapp-Cuevas was also cited for several misdemeanors, including driving under revocation.

Emilia Graham was lighting off fireworks when she was hit by the vehicle.

“We kind of can move forward from all this now,” she told Channel 8. “It gives every one of my family and me clarity and just have more of a clear mind now, instead of have to worry and stuff.”

Court records show the suspect has a history of driving infractions, including a recent DUI charge and a previous failure to yield and speeding among other allegations.
